WORK EXPERIENCE
SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
As the Co-Founder and Social Media Officer of PRISM, I developed and implemented a targeted social media strategy that took our Instagram presence from 0 to 455 followers in less than a year. By creating visually engaging content, utilizing effective hashtags, and fostering interaction through stories and posts, I significantly boosted our engagement and visibility. This growth not only helped us build an active online community but also contributed to the expansion of our organization to over 90 members, enhancing both our digital presence and overall outreach.
While at A-Line Magazine, I created Instagram story series focused on fashion and beauty trends. One of my series was centered around thrift shopping, designed to make the experience less intimidating for both newcomers and seasoned thrifters. shared my top thrift shopping tips, including how to spot quality items and what to look for when browsing, helping followers score amazing finds.
This series not only highlighted sustainable fashion but also boosted audience engagement, showcasing my ability to create relatable, trend-focused content.
TOTELLY GREEN
Created a short video showcasing Toteally Green’s booth at The Local at Lake Walk, a weekly, outdoor market featuring artisans, farmers, producers, and crafters from across the Brazos Valley, they feature a variety of vendors week to week!
As the Social Media Student Coordinator for Texas A&M University Statistics, I had fun creating content that brought the department to life online. From highlighting student and faculty successes to promoting events, I helped boost engagement and build a stronger connection with the TAMU community. My goal was to make stats more approachable and showcase the cool things happening in the department through creative and engaging posts
Here is a fun reel highlighting my expereince with FLARE and some of the content I took
As Co-chair of Public Relations for Freshman in Arts and Sciences Reaching Excellence (FLARE), I worked on creating promotional materials, like graphics and flyers, for our social media platforms. I also led the design and purchase of FLARE’s merchandise, making sure everything looked great and arrived on time. Managing the budget and keeping in touch with manufacturers was part of my role, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. It was a hands-on experience that allowed me to combine creativity with organization.
COPYWRITING + WEB DESIGN
COMM 410
For my COMM 410 Radio, Records, and Popular Culture class, I created a blog that explores how music influences films. I examined how soundtracks and scores enhance storytelling and evoke emotions, highlighting memorable scenes where music plays a key role. This project not only allowed me to combine my love for music and film, but it also helped me develop my web design and copywriting skills as I created engaging content and designed an appealing layout. Hope you enjoy reading!
COMM 410
For my final project in COMM 410: Radio, Records, and Popular Culture, I developed a blog showcasing my passion for Latin music and its cultural impact. It features articles like CANCIONES QUE MI MAMA ESCUCHA, highlighting cherished family songs, and MY PERSONAL LATIN MUSIC TASTE, which covers my top five genres: Latin pop, reggaeton, Latin rock, cumbia, and regional Mexicana. Additionally, LATIN MUSIC IN FILM + TV explores the genre's presence in films and shows, while LATIN MUSIC TRIVIA offers a fun quiz to test readers’ knowledge. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it
BRAND MARKETING
MOCK BRAND
Created a mock brand guide and logo for my MKTG 409 class project, “Nutri Print,” a nutritious 3-D printing snack company. The brand guide outlined the company’s logo, color palette, and messaging, ensuring a consistent identity across all marketing materials. This project helped me develop a cohesive visual identity for an innovative, healthy snack brand.
@nutriprint
RAIZ CREDIT UNION
I created a mock social media campaign for Raiz Federal Credit Union to promote their High School Spirit Debit Cards. The campaign focused on TikToks that showcased the card's features and benefits.
EMAIL MARKETING
NITRO BAR
I created a mock email marketing campaign for Nitro Bar Coffee Shop in Rhode Island.
The email showcases seasonal drinks, gives the Nitro Bars story to those who might not know it, and encourages customers to visit.
I used bold visuals and fun, casual copy to reflect Nitro Bar’s unique style and connect with their audience. The aim was to drive engagement and boost online orders while keeping the café’s laid-back vibe front and center.
